  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink.
  3. Drain excess fat, then stir in the cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly.
  5. Top the beef mixture with an even layer of frozen tater tots.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the tater tots.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
